The Wireless Emergency Alerts WEA system was developed to help inform the public in a specific area of emergency situations that require them to take action quickly to avoid injury. Sometimes you may receive a text alert containing warnings and public safety information on your mobile phone. Community members students faculty staff and guests are encouraged to report all crimes and safety-related incidents to the Office of Public Safety in a timely manner.
