In all 15 US officers were shot in the last 24 hours. The 22-year-old was in critical condition for several weeks but has since been released from a hospital. The incident began at approximately 1015 am when a woman called police from a Marathon gas station located near Beardsley Road and Cave Creek Road to report she was afraid of a possible confrontation with her boyfriend 35-year-old Nicholas Cody.
Williams said in a Friday evening news release that Phoenix police responded to the home at about 215 am.
